You will direct ground crews in the loading, unloading, securing, and staging of aircraft cargo or baggage. You will determine the quantity and orientation of cargo and compute an aircraft's center of gravity. You may accompany an aircraft as a member of the flight crew and monitor and handle cargo in flight, and assist and brief passengers on safety and emergency procedures.
You will determine and formulate policies and provide the overall direction of companies or private and public sector orgazations within the guidelines set up by a board of directors or similar governing body. You will plan, direct, or coordinate operational activities at the highest level of management with the help of subordinate executives and staff managers.
You will directly supervise and coordinate activities of animal husbandry or animal care workers.
You will prepare plans and procedures for responding to natural disasters and other emergencies. You will also help lead the response during and after emergencies, often in coordination with public safety officials, elected officials, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
You will compile data pertaining to size, content, condition, and other characteristics of forest tracts, under direction of foresters; train and lead forest workers in forest propagation, fire prevention and suppression. You may assist conservation scientists in managing, improving, and protecting rangelands and wildlife habitats, and help provide technical assistance regarding the conservation of soil, water, and related natural resources.
You will plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of companies or public and private sector organizations. Your duties and responsibilities will include formulating policies, managing daily operation, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.
You will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to prodcution schedule. Your duties will include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
